APICS CPIM and CSCP candidates outsideNorth Americawho take an APICS exam November 1, 2014 through December 13, 2014 are eligible for a free retake.  Candidates must claim their free retake ATT by sending an email to exams@apics.orgby January 31, 2015.

APICS research indicates that candidates sometimes hesitate scheduling and taking their tests because they feel unprepared for a high-stakes exam.  By offering a free retake, APICS aims to remove a key barrier to certification. 

This promotion is valid for both CPIM and CSCP candidates outsideNorth America.   

How to Participate in the Program

1.      Schedule and take your exam between November 1, 2014 and December 13, 2014. 

Before you schedule your APICS exam, you will need an Authorization to Test (ATT) in your account. If you don’t have an ATT, Please purchase Exam Credit with ASCMS now. Once you have an ATT, you can login to your account and schedule your exam with the test provider, Prometric.   

2.      Request a retake ATT from APICS by January 31, 2015.

Candidates receive their test results after completing the exam at the test center.  If a candidate fails to pass, they must send an email to APICS at exams@apics.orgrequesting a free retake ATT.   All requests for free retakes must be submitted to APICS by midnight January 31, 2015 central time.  The APICS Certification Department confirms that the candidate sat for the exam between November 1 and December 13, 2014 and then adds a new ATT to the candidate’s APICS record.  When this happens, the candidate will receive a system-generated email notification with instructions on how to schedule an exam. 

3.      Schedule and take your test.

Once you have your new ATT, you can login to your account and schedule your exam with the test providers.  Your ATT will be valid for six months.
